On Saturday, November 9th, 2002, the
Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum hosted its
first fundraising endeavor, “Taste Of The Trail”, an evening of chuck wagon
catering, cowboy storytelling and entertainment in the picture perfect setting
in the rolling hills of northern DeWitt County.
The event provided guests an opportunity to retreat from the hectic pace of
modern life and share in our common appreciation of Texas&lrsquo; rich ranching legacy.
The Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum
is one of the state’s newest and most exciting museum projects, so please plan
to join us for a memorable evening of relaxed camaraderie. Proceeds from the
event have been used to fund the next phase of the
Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum
development — our restoration “master plan” and “concept
plan” for the museum’s story-line and content.
